Fried sweet-potato starch (炸灌肠,Ja-Guan-Chang). The Chinese name is "fried sausage". Sausage mixed with sweet potato starch and minced meat was fried in Qing dynasty. Over the past 100 years, this snack has been simplified into just sweet-potato starch.  



Ingredient: Sweet-potato starch



Taste: Crispy, and a little bit spicy from the garlic sauce 



Price: 7 Yuan ($1.5)



How to have it: Put spoons of garlic sauce on it, and eat it with tooth picks (not chopsticks) that would be offered in the restaurant 



Where to have it: It is available in many restaurants. But there is one, and the only one restaurant that specializes in making it-Fengnian Guanchang (丰年灌肠)
