lǔ zhǔ huǒshāo (卤煮火烧,Lu-Ju-Hwuh-Shao ),is wheaten cake boiled in meat broth.  Don't be fooled by the English translation. There is no meat in it, only pork lung and intestines. This dish was first appeared in Qing dynasty, during which it was popular among the poor, since they couldn't afford any meat.



Ingredients: pork lung, intestine, wheaten cake, fried tofu, broth made from pork offal.
